Who we are

Dynamic 360 Ltd, which provides the Dynamic Languages service to educators, is the controller of the order and contact data described on this page. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17539118, and our registered office is 13 Avondale Avenue, Barnet, England, EN4 8LT.

What we collect

When you order or ask us for a quote, we collect:

the name, job title and work email address of the person ordering
your organisation's name and billing address, and the email address for invoices
your VAT number, if you give one
your purchase-order number, if you give one
what you order, and a record of who accepted the Educator Terms and Educator Data Processing Agreement, and when
the messages you send us

Card payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Why we use it

to take, set up, invoice and renew your orders
to send you service emails about your order and your logins
to answer your questions and give you support
to keep the accounting records the law requires

We rely on our contract with your organisation, on our legal duties (such as keeping accounting records) and on our legitimate interest in running our business.

Where the law allows, we may also send staff emails about Dynamic Languages. Every one has a link to unsubscribe. We never send marketing to student logins.

Students' and staff data in your organisation's account

When your organisation uses Dynamic Languages, the data of its students and staff in the service (for example their logins, learning records and speaking exercises) is covered by the Educator Data Processing Agreement between your organisation and us. Your organisation is the controller of that data, and we process it on its behalf.

If you are a student or a member of staff and want to see, correct or delete that data, please ask your organisation. If you ask us, we pass your request on to your organisation.

We share order data with Stripe to take payments, and with the other service providers that help us run orders and support, only as far as they need it. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep order and billing records for as long as UK tax and company law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. To use any of these rights, email support@dynamiclanguages.org.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
